We’re a few months into wedding season and I couldn’t have asked for a better first half. There have been countless times that I’ve been overwhelmed with gratitude of the amazing couples I get to work with this year. And to intersect their lives in the midst of such exciting times and memorable days, it’s truly an honor.

A few weeks back I had the chance to capture Laura and David’s engagement. I had only met them briefly last summer while capturing Laura’s sister’s wedding so I loved the chance to get to know them better at the shoot. We kicked things off in downtown Hinsdale and then hit a local forest preserve just in time for the beautiful light of golden hour. As you can tell from the images below, there’s so much joy and laughter to their relationship which made it so much fun to capture.
