I can’t tell you how much fun it makes when a couple goes all out for a shoot! Weeks back, I mentioned to Keelah how it might be cool to get a couple props for our Chicago engagement session. No more words were needed for her to catch the vision, and she consequently scoped out what treasures local resale shops might have to offer. When it came time for the shoot, she was prepared with an entire bag of prop-awesomeness, from old badminton rackets and antique frames to the sweetest old suitcase you have ever seen (I’m a little jealous I didn’t find this first!).
But…it’s one thing to have some pre-shoot excitement, it’s another to bring it to the shoot. And Keelah and Eric brought it…and then some! We had such a great time exploring the unique offerings of Old Town, Oak Street Beach, and the parks along Lake Shore Drive. Thanks Keelah and Eric for the opportunity to spend the day with you guys, I’m so happy for you and your coming marriage!
It was also amazing to have my good friend and super talented photographer, Jenn Gaudreau (www.jenniferkathryn.com) along for the shoot!
Just sayin’. Gorgeous, gorgeous work, Todd. I love the one with Keela laughing–I love moments like that that capture the spirit of the couple.
