Chicago Wedding Photographer | Klein Creek, Wheaton, IL | Amanda & Jake’s Wedding

It has been such an amazing summer… and an equally amazingly hot summer. But as memories still linger of the winter we had even just 6 months back I’ve reminded myself countless times to remain content in those moments when Chicago has reached an almost sauna-like quality. As a photographer who loves photographing in the outdoors, you’re forced to roll with the punches that the weather throws you. Amanda and Jake’s was no exception to this. It just so happened that their wedding came on probably the hottest day that we’ve had yet. However, despite the heat, their wedding day such an incredible celebration of their relationship.

We began the day at Wheaton Bible Church for their beautiful and emotional ceremony before we left for Klein Creek Farms for some outdoor post-ceremony pictures of the bride and groom and the bridal party. Hand-held fans and an abundance of bottled water could only do so much against the blistering temperatures. But despite that, Amanda and Jake, as well as the bridal party, were so much fun and great sports, allowing us to get some beautiful pictures. We then left for Klein Creek Country Club for the reception where the celebration continued well into the night.
