Though not every couple decides to have an engagement session before their wedding, I am always thrilled when they do. As I’ve posted before, it provides a great opportunity to get to know them before the Big Day and it’s always such a great time. This past weekend I had the privilege of photographing Caitlin and Michael’s engagement in Hinsdale, IL. If you’ve ever been to Hinsdale you know its one of the quainter towns suburban Chicago has to offer, and consequently, a goldmine for a photographer.
It was such a joy to capture Caitlin and Michael’s relationship. If you’ve spent any time with the two of them, it doesn’t take long to witness their playfulness, how at ease they are around each other, and the love between them. It’s normal for these qualities to be somewhat muted when a couple gets behind the camera, but thankfully this was hardly the case with Caitlin and Michael… they were such naturals! Despite the 90-degree Chicago afternoon, we had an amazing time and got some great shots. I am so thrilled to be photographing their wedding at Danada Farms in July.
Additionally, I was so grateful to have my good friend and photographer extraordinaire, Jaclyn Simpson (www.jaclynsimpson.com), join me on the shoot!
